We can accept paper proof of rabies in the form of a receipt from your veterinarian or your town license. In the event your pet has a health condition that prohibits it from being vaccinated, we will also accept a written vaccination waiver signed by your veterinarian.
You agree to disclose any health or behavior issues that could affect the grooming process. You will be held liable for any bites that require medical treatment and any property damage caused by your pet. If your pet is unable to be groomed safely, we reserve the right to refuse service. Any harm caused by your pet to any person, animal or property is your responsibility.
The quoted price of grooming is a base price. The groomer reserves the right to charge extra fees for coat condition, handling a difficult pet or excessive matting. The groomer reserves the right to charge a full coat fee for dogs with excessive coat for hand scissoring.
Dogs with more than three live fleas will be given a mandatory flea bath with a $25 charge. Any ticks found will result in a $0 charge for the first three ticks, plus $1 for each additional tick found.
New clients are required to pay a nonrefundable $25 deposit. We are happy to transfer the deposit if you move your appointment withing 2 business days of the groom. The deposit will come off the day of the groom or will be forfeited if you no show for services. We require notification of any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment by 5 pm two business days before the appointment. Same day cancellations may result in a cancellation fee. Customers with repeated same day cancellations will be required to prepay for future appointments. Same day accommodation when available will incur a $25 express fee.
In the event of matting, we will try to save as much hair possible. If there is excessive matting, we will need to carefully shave under the mats. The process can be painful for your pet, and may result in skin irritation, nicks, cuts, and bruises. Heavy matting may also conceal pre-existing conditions, such as fungal or bacterial infections. We will do our best to minimize discomfort to your pet, but we are not responsible for any injuries or medical issues due to this process.
All pets who request color application must have had a service at least once with us prior to the color appointment to feel if the pet is a good candidate for color. We require all pets to be over 1 year of age for color. Although pet safe dyes are used, they are permanent and will not come out “quickly”. Although rare, reactions can happen, should they happen we recommend reaching out to your vet for appropriate treatment and agree to not hold Luxury liable for any vet bills for reactions or any damages from possible dye washing out and staining.
In the event of an emergency, we will contact you and take your pet to the nearest veterinary office for treatment. In the event you are not able to be contacted, Luxury Pet Spa, LLC will act as your agent for the care of your pet. All vet expenses will be the responsibility of the pet owner unless injury is due to direct negligence of the groomer. We will not be held responsible for any sickness or injury caused by the pet to itself during grooming, or any accidental death of pet due to a pre-existing health condition or natural disaster. We will always notify the owner at pick up of any concerns or issues that arose during the groom but if you notice anything please notify us as soon as possible so we can address the concerns.
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. We also accept apple pay, cash but do not accept check. We also offer pay ahead online when we are finished with your pet, but this is a service provider, and it does charge a $4.95 convenience fee. We pride ourselves on only taking one appointment at a time and we do not have the space on the premises to board dogs. We will call you 15 minutes before your pet is ready to be picked up. Pets must be picked up within one hour of that phone call, or we reserve the right to charge a $25 boarding fee.

Although we do not believe in excessive de-matting, we will work with you as much as possible to get you on a schedule to achieve your goal desired look. If for some reason you’re not happy, please notify us at pick up or within 24 hours so we can address any concerns and attempt to address them. Since we are a service provider and due to the nature of the business, we cannot provide refunds on services rendered. We only offer exchanges on defective merchandise we sell.
